APC Inaugurates Sub-Committees to Oversee Preparations for 2026 National Convention

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the composition of several sub-committees to spearhead preparations for its 2026 National Convention, in a move aimed at strengthening organizational efficiency and ensuring a transparent and credible convention process.

According to the party, the sub-committees have been established to oversee key areas including planning, administration, elections, logistics, security, and event coordination, with the objective of guaranteeing a smooth and successful convention without disruptions.

The APC emphasized that the inauguration of these committees forms part of its broader commitment to strict adherence to the party’s constitution and approved guidelines, while upholding fairness, transparency, and due process at every stage.

The party also urged members of the various committees to discharge their responsibilities with diligence, integrity, and a strong sense of accountability to achieve the set objectives.

In a statement issued by Felix Morka, the APC National Publicity Secretary, the party reassured its members, stakeholders, and Nigerians at large of its resolve to organize a credible and well-coordinated convention that will further strengthen internal democracy and advance its developmental agenda.
