GWALE CHAIRMAN FLAGS OFF DISTRIBUTION OF APPOINTMENT LETTERS TO 505 TEACHERS, ANNOUNCES JULY SALARY BONUS

Gwale LGA Chairman Launches Distribution of Appointment Letters to 505 Newly Recruited Teachers

In a significant step toward strengthening the education sector in Gwale Local Government Area, the Executive Chairman of Gwale LGA, Hon. Abubakar Mu’azu Mojo, on Monday officially launched the distribution of Teaching Offer Letters to 505 newly recruited teachers employed by the Gwale Local Government Council with the approval of the Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf. The ceremony was held at the Gwale Local Government Secretariat.

The recruitment represents the third phase of teacher employment undertaken by the current Gwale Local Government administration since assuming office. To date, the council has recruited nearly 2,000 teachers as part of a comprehensive initiative aimed at improving the quality of basic education and addressing the shortage of teachers in public primary schools across the local government.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Abubakar Mu’azu Mojo reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to prioritizing education, stressing that every child in Gwale deserves access to quality education delivered by competent and dedicated teachers. He urged the newly employed teachers to discharge their duties with professionalism, integrity, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the Education Secretary of Gwale Local Government, Malam Muktar Inuwa, congratulated the newly recruited teachers and announced that the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abubakar Mu’azu Mojo, would immediately direct that their names be captured in the government payroll system to enable them to begin receiving their salaries without delay. He described the move as a clear demonstration of the administration’s commitment to the welfare of its workforce and its determination to fulfill its promises.

The event concluded on a joyful note with prayers for the continued success of the Kano State Government under the leadership of Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Gwale Local Government Administration led by Hon. Abubakar Mu’azu Mojo, in recognition of their sustained efforts to advance education and improve the well-being of the people of Gwale.
