WE THANK KANO PEOPLE FOR THE WARMTH RECEPTION, SOLIDARITY AND LOVE SHOWN TO GOVERNOR ABBA ON HIS RETURN TO KANO

The Kano State Government extends its heartfelt appreciation to the good people of the state for the overwhelming and historic reception accorded to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, on his return to Kano following his participation in the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention which held in Abuja.

The unprecedented turnout of enthusiastic supporters, who thronged the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport and those who lined up on major roads across the metropolis, is a clear demonstration of the enduring love, loyalty, and confidence the people have in the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

This remarkable show of solidarity, which brought movement across key parts of the city to a standstill for several hours, reflects the deep connection between the government and the governed, as well as the shared commitment to the progress and unity of Kano State.

The Government is particularly grateful to all categories of stakeholders and APC stalwarts, particularly the leadership of the party, other party faithfuls, community leaders, youth groups, women organizations, students unions, traders Associations and well-wishers, whose support, peaceful and orderly conduct contributed significantly to the success of the reception.

We also commend the efforts of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Kano State chapter, under the leadership of its Chairperson, Hon. Sa’adatu Salisu Yusha’u, and all other local Government Chairmen for their commitment to the success of the event.

Special appreciation also goes to all Commissioners, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, Heads of MDAs, Senior Special Reporters, Special Reporters, and other Government appointees for their support in ensuring the success of this historic occasion.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf remains deeply humbled and inspired by this massive demonstration of goodwill. He reassures the people of Kano State of his unwavering commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy, strengthening unity, and accelerating development across all sectors.

The Government urges citizens to sustain this spirit of unity, cooperation, and peaceful coexistence as it continues to work tirelessly in advancing the collective aspirations of the state.

Once again, we thank the great people of Kano for this historic and memorable event which will remain a symbol of people-driven governance and shared destiny.
