Waiya Commissions Mik-InforTech Centre, Calls for Youth Participation
The Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, has commissioned Mik-InforTech, a computer training and printing centre, as part of ongoing efforts to expand digital access and empower young people across the state.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, the Commissioner described the centre as a timely initiative that supports the vision of the administration of Abba Kabir Yusuf in promoting youth empowerment through computer literacy and digital skills development.
Waiya commended the Chief Executive Officer of the centre, Mahmud Isa, for establishing a facility that will provide training opportunities and essential services to residents, noting that such initiatives complement government efforts in human capital development.
He urged youths and members of the public to take full advantage of the centre to enhance their knowledge, build practical skills, and prepare themselves for emerging opportunities in the digital economy.
The Commissioner emphasized that the Kano State Government will continue to support programmes and partnerships that promote innovation, skills acquisition, and inclusive development across the state.
