Kano NUT Chairman Congratulates Governor, Teachers on Eid al-Adha; Commends Payment of Sallah Bonus

The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Kano State Wing , Comrade Baffa Ibrahim Garko, has extended warm Eid al-Adha greetings to the Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, members of the State Executive Council, and the entire teaching community across the state.

Speaking on behalf of all State Wing Executive Council (SWEC) members, Comrade Garko expressed appreciation to the Kano State Government for the payment of the Eid al-Adha (Sallah) bonus to workers, particularly teachers, describing the gesture as timely and commendable.

He further congratulated all teachers in Kano State on the occasion of Eid al-Adha and prayed for the acceptance of their acts of worship during the festive period.

Comrade Garko also offered prayers for sustained peace, unity, and prosperity in Kano State and Nigeria as a whole.
