TWO KANO STATE LAWMAKERS DIE WITHIN ONE HOUR
Two members of the Kano State House of Assembly passed away on Wednesday, 24th December 2025, within the same hour.
The lawmakers reportedly died as a result of illness. According to the spokesperson of the Kano State Governor, DG Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the member representing Ungogo Local Government Area, Alhaji Aminu Sa’ad Ungogo, was the first to pass away while on duty at the State House of Assembly.
Barely an hour after the death of Aminu Sa’ad Ungogo, news broke about the passing of his colleague, Alhaji Sarki Aliyu Daneji, who represented Kano Municipal Local Government Area.
