NUT Dala Branch Donates Dialysis Support Fund to Malama Bara’atu
The Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT), Dala Local Government branch in Kano, has donated funds to Malama Bara’atu to support her dialysis treatment on Tuesday, 09/12/2025.
The NUT Dala chairman, Comrade Yahaya Ramadan, along with his deputies, presented the support to Malama Bara’atu to assist with her ongoing dialysis sessions and an upcoming orthopedic surgery at the Dala Orthopedic Hospital due to a leg complication. Comrade Ramadan explained that Malama Bara’atu is one of the dedicated teachers in Dala LGA, currently teaching at Khairulwara Islamiyya Primary School.
Speaking to E-Magazine Media Channel, Comrade Ramadan stated, “Malama Bara’atu is among the teachers Dala LGA takes pride in. That’s why NUT Dala branch offered her this support of ₦50,000 to help with her medical expenses—not because she requested it, but because she deserves it.”
He added that the NUT is always ready to assist teachers in need, following the directive of the Kano State NUT leadership under Comrade Baffa Ibrahim Garko.
