JACOD DESCRIBES WAIYA’S NATIONAL AWARDS FINALIST STATUS AS A VICTORY FOR EFFECTIVE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMUNICATION

The Joint Action Campaign for Development (JACOD) has praised the emergence of the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, as a finalist in the Crisis Communicator category of the 2026 National Spokespersons Awards.

JACOD views the recognition as an important milestone that highlights the growing relevance of professional communication in governance and public administration.
