FCE Class ’99 Holds Its First Reunion Meeting

On Sunday, 18 January 2026, alumni of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Kano, held their first reunion meeting at Dukawuya Girls Science Project School in Gwale Local Government Area.

The alumni, who graduated with the NCE in 1999, organised the meeting to strengthen unity and revive meaningful relationships that would promote social interaction and mutual support among members.

Speaking at the event, Malam Salisu Gwangwazo, who led the reunion, said the gathering was truly meaningful and brought him great joy. He noted that many classmates who had not seen one another for 26 years were reunited at the meeting. Gwangwazo added that such gatherings would continue and that the FCE Kano Class of ’99 Alumni Association would be formally established in the near future.

Participants from the various academic disciplines of that set were able to attend the meeting, expressing their happiness and support. The reunion was attended by alumni from the Languages, Social Sciences, Business Studies, and Science departments, among others.
