KSSSSMB Boss Credited for Kano Students’ Top Performance in 2025 NECO SSCE

The remarkable effort and leadership of the Executive Secretary of the Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board (KSSSSMB), Honourable Rabi’u Saleh Gwarzo, have been identified as the driving force behind Kano State students securing first position in the 2025 NECO Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

Gwarzo established a comprehensive leadership framework, applying strategic approaches and professional expertise in managing both the Board and secondary schools across the state, with a strong focus on advancing education in Kano. This included the introduction of best practices and effective, solution-driven strategies.

He also motivated teachers and school administrators to prioritize teamwork and continuous tracking of students’ academic progress. As a result, teachers maintained strong commitment and regular classroom engagement, avoiding absenteeism.

These combined efforts significantly contributed to the outstanding performance of Kano State students, who outperformed their counterparts across Nigeria in the 2025 NECO SSCE.
