KAROTA: Deputy Chairman Raises Concern Over Lack of Regular Meetings

The Deputy Chairman of the Kano State Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA), Auwal Shu’aibu Aranposu, has expressed concern over the manner in which the agency is currently being administered, saying it is not operating as it should.

Aranposu made the remarks during an interview with Freedom Radio Kano, where he disclosed that since joining the agency about one and a half years ago, management had held only one formal management meeting.

“Everyone knows how KAROTA is currently being run, but that is not how the agency should operate. Since I joined the agency, which is now about a year and a half ago, we have held a management meeting only once,” he said.

The Deputy Chairman, however, did not provide further details on the reasons behind the infrequent management meetings, but expressed concern over the situation and the way the agency’s affairs are being conducted.
