Kano Rising: The Path of Progress, Partnership, and Prosperity

My brothers and sisters of Kano,

Today, we stand united by a shared hope — the hope for a stronger economy, better opportunities for our youth, improved infrastructure, and a government that truly works for the people. That hope is not distant; it is already taking shape through the leadership of Abba Kabir Yusuf and the constructive partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria.

This collaboration has opened new doors for our state. We are witnessing progress in infrastructure, social programmes, and economic initiatives that are designed to improve the daily lives of our people. This is what happens when leadership is focused on service, unity, and development.

Fellow citizens, development is not achieved overnight. It requires consistency, commitment, and the collective support of the people. The progress we are seeing today must not be interrupted. Continuity ensures that projects are completed, opportunities expand, and stability is maintained.

We must remember that the strength of Kano has always been its people — hardworking traders, farmers, entrepreneurs, students, and professionals. With the right leadership and sustained partnership with national authorities, Kano can unlock even greater opportunities for growth and prosperity.

I call on every citizen to remain engaged, to support policies that promote unity and development, and to stand together in building the Kano we all deserve — a state that leads in commerce, innovation, and social progress.

Together, we can protect the gains we have made. Together, we can accelerate development. And together, we can secure a brighter future for our children and generations to come.

May Kano continue to move forward in peace, unity, and progress.
