Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Attends APC North-West Zonal Congress in Kaduna
Kano State Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Wednesday joined other governors and key stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the APC North-West Zonal Congress held at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Hall in Kaduna State.

The congress, hosted by the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, brought together prominent political leaders from across the North-West region to deliberate on strategic party matters and strengthen unity within the party ahead of future political engagements.
During the high-level gathering, party delegates conducted the election of members into the APC North-West Zonal Executive Committee. The event also featured the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected officials, a development seen as an important step toward consolidating the party’s leadership structure in the region.

The congress concluded with a keynote address delivered by Governor Uba Sani, following the acceptance speech of the newly elected Zonal Chairman, alongside remarks from other party leaders who emphasized the need for unity, discipline, and collective commitment to the party’s progress.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, alongside governors from Jigawa, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, and Katsina States, participated actively in the deliberations aimed at strengthening the APC’s political influence across the North-West.
Also in attendance were the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajuddeen Abbas; Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin; and the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ibrahim Kabir Masari.
The event further attracted former governors, ministers from the North-West region, deputy governors, party chieftains, and members of the business community, reflecting the importance of the congress in shaping the future direction of the party in the region.
