Garko LGEA Education Secretary Mansur Yakubu Dies After Brief Illness

The Education Secretary of Garko Local Government Education Authority (LGEA), Malam Mansur Yakubu, has died following a brief illness.

Malam Mansur Yakubu passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, according to a condolence message issued by the management of Rano LGEA.

The Education Secretary of Rano LGEA, Malam Sani Ibrahim Yaro, on behalf of the management and entire staff of the authority, expressed deep condolences to the Kano State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), as well as the management and staff of Garko LGEA, over the loss.

The condolence message, signed by Shamsuddeen Salisu Ibrahim, HCC, Rano LGEA, prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased’s shortcomings, accept his good deeds, grant him eternal rest and admit him into Al-Jannatul Firdaus.

The authority also prayed for Allah to grant his family, colleagues and associates the strength and patience to bear the loss.
