BIKOBA Class of ’95 Commended for Building Clinic at GUC Birnin Kudu

The Birnin Kudu Old Boys Association (BIKOBA), Class of 1995, has been commended for initiating the construction of a clinic at Government Unity College (GUC), Birnin Kudu, aimed at enhancing the health and well-being of students.

The commendation was given by the Executive Chairman of the Board, Dr. Abubakar Sabo Yushau, during an inspection visit to the proposed project site within the school premises.

According to a statement issued by the Board’s spokesperson, Wasilu Umar Ringim, Dr. Yushau noted that the intervention by the alumni is a commendable effort that will significantly improve access to healthcare services for both students and staff, thereby fostering a healthier and more conducive learning environment.

He urged other old students’ associations and education stakeholders to emulate such philanthropic gestures to support and uplift the standard of education in Jigawa State.

The proposed clinic will include a consulting room, laboratory unit, emergency ward with eight-bed capacity, a store, and other essential medical facilities.

The Executive Chairman was accompanied by members of the board and management staff during the inspection.
