Stronger Together: The New Era of Growth in Kano

My dear people of Kano,

We gather today with a shared belief — that Kano can be greater, stronger, and more prosperous for everyone. This belief is no longer just a dream; it is becoming reality through purposeful leadership and a working partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria.

Under the guidance of Abba Kabir Yusuf, our state is moving with clear direction. We are seeing progress that touches real lives — from improvements in infrastructure to programmes aimed at supporting families, youth, and businesses. This is what leadership looks like when it is driven by service and commitment.

But let us remember: progress is a journey. What we are building today must be protected so it can grow even stronger tomorrow. When leadership remains consistent, projects are completed, opportunities expand, and confidence in our future becomes stronger.

Kano has always thrived because of its people — resilient traders, dedicated farmers, ambitious young people, and hardworking communities. With continued cooperation and the right policies, our state can unlock even greater opportunities and strengthen its place as a centre of commerce and innovation.

I encourage every citizen to stay involved, to support unity, and to stand behind policies that move Kano forward. Real development happens when government and the people work hand in hand.

Together, we will preserve the progress we have made. Together, we will build a stronger economy. And together, we will create a future filled with opportunity for the next generation.

Kano’s best days are ahead of us — if we continue on this path, united and focused.
