KSSSSMB Reaffirms Commitment to School Examination Standards
The Executive Secretary, Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board, Alhaji Rabiu Sale Gwarzo, has reaffirmed the Board’s commitment to upholding strict examination standards across all senior secondary schools in the state.
This renewed commitment follows the commencement of the ongoing Qualifying and Terminal Examinations, during which monitoring teams from the Board led by the Director, Monitoring and Evaluation were deployed to schools to observe the conduct of the examinations.
Represented by the Director, Monitoring and Evaluation, Hajiya Halima Musa, who led the team, the Executive Secretary noted that the Board remains committed to transparency, discipline, and credibility in all school assessments. He emphasized that proper supervision is necessary to maintain examination integrity and guarantee fair assessment of students.
The Executive Secretary commended principals, teachers, supervisors, and students for their cooperation and urged them to continue adhering to all examination rules. He also applauded Governor Abbas Kabir Yusuf’s administration, reiterating that the state government will continue to implement policies aimed at strengthening the overall quality of education across the state.
The monitoring team is composed of senior monitoring officers deployed to schools across the state to ensure prompt responses. Notable among the schools covered are GGSS Giginyu, GGSS Kundila, and GGSS Kabo, along with numerous other schools in both urban and rural areas.
Earlier, during the flag-off of the exercise, the Director Monitoring and Evaluation expressed appreciation for the Executive Secretary’s efforts in enhancing the overall effectiveness of the monitoring exercises. She noted that the structured supervision and guidance provided by the Board have greatly improved the quality and consistency of school assessments across the state.
