KNSG to Institute Legal Action Over the Killing of a Mother and Her Six Children
The Kano State Government has announced that it will take the lead in instituting legal action over the brutal murder of a married woman and her six children in the Chiranchi area, an incident that has plunged the people of the state into deep mourning.

In a statement issued by the Attorney General of the State and Commissioner for Justice, Abdulkarim Kabiru Maude, SAN, the government described the killing as a horrific and inhumane act that runs contrary to the laws of humanity.

The statement said that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has directed that condolences be conveyed to the families of the deceased and assured them of the full support of the state government.
The government also commended the state police command for the swift investigation that led to the arrest of the suspects, stressing that they will be promptly prosecuted through the Office of the Attorney General to ensure that justice is served.
