Kano Government Recruits 120 New Staff into State Revenue Service
The Kano State Government has recruited 120 new staff into the State Revenue Service as part of efforts to boost internally generated revenue and reduce youth unemployment.

While presenting the appointment letters to the newly employed staff, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated that his administration is committed to strengthening the revenue collection system in order to enhance internal income and enable the execution of major development projects.
The governor urged the new employees to be honest, accountable, and adhere strictly to the rules and regulations guiding their work to help achieve the goals set for the Revenue Service.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of the Kano State Revenue Service, Dr. Zaid Abubakar, said the recruitment would improve the agency’s operations and increase the state’s revenue.
Some of the newly recruited staff expressed their gratitude to the state government and pledged to work with integrity and dedication to justify the trust placed in them.
