Six Newly Promoted NDLEA Officers Decorated in Kazaure Area Command
Six officers of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in the Kazaure Area Command, Jigawa State, were officially decorated following their recent promotions.

During the decoration ceremony, Area Commander Gambo Shehu congratulated the officers and urged them to redouble their efforts in fulfilling their duties in line with their new ranks. He stressed that the Agency remains committed to combating drug smuggling, consumption, and distribution.
Commander Gambo expressed appreciation to the Commandant of the NDLEA Jigawa State Command for his visionary leadership and proactive collaboration with key stakeholders in the fight against drug abuse.
He reaffirmed the Area Command’s dedication to maintaining strong partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including sister security agencies, traditional institutions, civil society organizations, and educational institutions. He emphasized the command’s readiness to ensure a drug-free society and warned against any complacency in the fight against drug-related offences.
Commander Gambo assured the newly promoted officers of his full support as they assume greater responsibilities.
