Pro-Abba Group (Gida-gida  Network Strategies for AKY) Holds First Strategic Meeting to Reinforce Support and Promote Governor’s Agenda

The Abba Gida-Gida Network Strategies group has convened its first meeting aimed at strengthening its structure and aligning with the political direction of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

The meeting, held on Monday, April 6, 2026, followed the recent political developments involving Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and was organized to review and reposition the group’s leadership in line with the governor’s agenda.

Speaking at the gathering, the group’s leader, Comrade Tukur, said the meeting was organized to reaffirm their unwavering support for the governor. He added that the group would now place greater emphasis on promoting the achievements and developmental efforts of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf across Kano State.

Also speaking, the Special Adviser to the Executive Governor on Public Enlightenment, Honourable Umar Yushe’u, urged members to focus on sensitizing the public about the policies and developmental initiatives of the administration. He emphasized the need to properly communicate the government’s vision, particularly in the area of infrastructure and public development.

He further advised members not to be distracted by opposition criticism or negative commentary targeting the administration, stressing the importance of staying committed to their objectives.

The meeting was attended by Senior Special Reporters (SSRs) to the governor, who also contributed by offering strategic recommendations, especially on the effective use of social media for public enlightenment and engagement.
