ONE KANO AGENDA CELEBRATES WAIYA’S NATIONAL RECOGNITION AS TOP CRISIS COMMUNICATION FINALIST

One Kano Agenda has welcomed the inclusion of the Kano State Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, among the finalists for the 2026 National Spokespersons Awards, describing the development as a proud moment for Kano State and a recognition of excellence in public communication.

The organization noted that securing a place among the nation’s leading crisis communication professionals is evidence of the growing visibility and effectiveness of Kano State’s information management system. It added that such recognition is earned through dedication, competence, and the ability to communicate responsibly during both routine and challenging situations.

The organization observed that Comrade Waiya has consistently demonstrated these qualities since assuming office as Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs.
