NUT Kano State Wing Mourns Deputy Secretary General, Comrade Adamu Ango

The Kano State Wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has extended its heartfelt condolences to the National leadership of the Union and members of the National Executive Council (NEC) over the passing of the Deputy Secretary General I, Comrade Adamu Ango.

In a condolence message, the Chairman of the NUT Kano State Wing, Comrade Baffa Ibrahim Garko, speaking on behalf of the State Executive Council, expressed deep sorrow over the loss. He also conveyed condolences on behalf of the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf, the Commissioner for Education, Gwani Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, members of the State Education Boards, and all teachers across Kano State.

Comrade Garko described the death of Comrade Ango as a great loss to the Union and the entire education community, noting that his contributions and commitment to the advancement of teachers’ welfare and the education sector will always be remembered.

“We extend our deepest sympathies to the national leadership of the NUT, members of the NEC, the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Comrade Adamu Ango. His passing is indeed a painful loss to the union and the nation’s education sector,” he said.

He prayed that Almighty Allah forgives the shortcomings of the deceased and grants him eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus, while also granting his family, relatives, and associates the strength and patience to bear the irreparable loss. 🤲🕊️
