Nigeria Forward Project Unveiled in Abuja, Calls for Collective Action

The Nigeria Forward (NF) Project, a new national initiative promoting unity and collective action for national development, was formally unveiled on Friday in Abuja.
The event, held at Barcelona Hotel, Wuse II, brought together stakeholders under the leadership of the project’s Convener, Dr Kingsley T. Udeh, SAN, Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, and Co-Convener, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Kano State.
The initiative is built around the theme, “One Nigeria, One Future,” with the message, “We Move Nigeria Forward.”
The organisers said the project was conceived as a platform where Nigerians from different backgrounds could come together, exchange ideas and contribute to the country’s development.
They stressed that national development should not be left to government alone, noting that citizens, professionals, young people, entrepreneurs, civil society organisations and other stakeholders all have roles to play.
The project is expected to focus on areas including innovation, economic development, youth empowerment, education, civic participation and national unity.
The organisers also underscored the importance of young Nigerians in shaping the country’s future, particularly through innovation, entrepreneurship, skills development and meaningful civic engagement.
They urged Nigerians to contribute their ideas, knowledge and resources to the initiative, saying collective participation would help strengthen the country’s development efforts.
The organisers further described the building of a stronger Nigeria as a shared responsibility, calling for greater cooperation among citizens, institutions and other stakeholders.
The Abuja unveiling marks the commencement of the Nigeria Forward Project’s wider engagement with Nigerians on its vision of a united and prosperous country.
The project’s message is clear: “One Nigeria. One Future. We Move Nigeria Forward.”
