ABBA BICHI RENOVATES HAGAGAWA PRIMARY SCHOOL
Hon. (Dr.) Abubakar Kabir Bichi has commissioned Hagagawa Primary School following its reconstruction and the modernization of its football field.
He also recruited an additional 182 teachers.
On Tuesday, 27/01/2026, the Honourable Member of the House of Representatives representing Bichi and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, Hon. (Dr.) Abubakar Kabir Bichi, commissioned the newly rebuilt Hagagawa Primary School in Bichi Local Government Area. The school was completely reconstructed and equipped with a modern football pitch.
In addition, the Honourable Member recruited 182 new teachers who will be deployed to primary schools across Bichi Local Government Area. So far, he has employed a total of 500 teachers, each of whom receives a monthly salary of Sixty Thousand Naira (₦60,000).
This means that the Honourable Member spends Thirty Million Naira (₦30,000,000) every month on teachers’ salaries in Bichi Local Government Area, amounting to Three Hundred and Sixty Million Naira (₦360,000,000) annually.
During the event, the Honourable Member also reaffirmed his commitment to constructing similar modern schools in Danzabuwa in Bichi West, Saye in Bichi East, as well as Ciranci Primary School in Bichi.
Parents’ associations, teachers, and students’ organizations expressed deep appreciation and gratitude to Hon. Engr. (Dr.) Abubakar Kabir Bichi during the ceremony.
The event was attended by the Chairman of Bichi Local Government Area, Hon. Hamza Maifata; the State House of Assembly Member, Hon. Lawan Shehu Bichi; Members of the House of Representatives; APC party leaders; community members; and other distinguished stakeholders.
