DEBATE COMPITATION BETWEEN ADSS ARMY DAY AND GGASS MASALLACI IN SCIENCE SUBJECTS AND ARABIC.
ADSS, GGASS Masallaci Triumph in Science Quiz, Arabic Debate Competitions
Army Day Secondary School (ADSS) and Government Girls Arabic Secondary School (GGASS) Masallaci have emerged victorious in the Inter-Secondary Schools Science Quiz and Arabic Debate Competitions, respectively. In the Arabic Debate, GGAS Tudun Bojuwa secured second place, while in the Science Quiz Competition, ADSS Girls took second place and GGAS Aisha Shehu claimed third.
The set of competitions held at KTC Kano were organized by Kano Senior Secondary Schools Management Board, Fage Zonal Education Directorate as part of its efforts to complement the Executive Secretary’s educational policy implementation.
Declaring the event open, the Zonal Director of Fagge Zonal Education Directorate, Malam Tasi’u Dahiru, stated that the competition was designed to encourage students’ performance and boost their confidence in public presentations, while commending the Executive Secretary, Alhaji Rabiu Sale Gwarzo, for his tireless leadership in uplifting secondary education in Kano State.
Representing the Executive Secretary, the Director PRS, Malam Bashir Muazu, commended the Fage Zonal Directoratre for hosting the competition and pledged additional support to strengthen such initiatives. He noted that the effort is in line with Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s forward-looking education policies.
Prizes were presented to the schools that secured top positions in the competition, with additional cash donations awarded to the winners by the Chairman of ASUSS, Comrade Abdu Usman Yalo.
